Guideline for Authors
Guidelines for Preparing Papers and Abstracts
Please consult the guidelines for authors submitting papers to the symposium proceedings and the guidelines for authors submitting abstracts to the book of abstracts. The same preparation guidelines apply whether your contribution will be presented as an oral presentation or a poster.
Oral presentations are expected to last 10–15 minutes, allowing some time for brief questions. Invited lectures will generally be longer. Please upload your presentation to the computer during the break preceding your session.
Instructions for Poster Authors
Posters will be presented electronically on the Society’s website.
Please submit your poster content by 1 January 2027 using the online form, which will be published on the website at the end of June 2026. Your content will be formatted as an e-poster using a standard layout for all contributions. An example of the layout is available at this link. Please submit your poster materials via this page.
Each poster author will have 1–2 minutes to introduce their poster at the end of the relevant thematic session. A PowerPoint slide will display only the poster title and authors; no other information will be included. At the time indicated in the symposium programme, the session chair will invite you to the stage to highlight the key points of your work and encourage participants to view your poster during the breaks. This brief introduction will also help participants identify you and approach you for further discussion during the breaks.
